What a great Memorial Day Weekend we had! We had nice guests and the weather was better than we expected.

DeeAnn was here with her daughter Birhane who is from Ethiopia. What a little cutie! They were joined by DeeAnn’s parents from Goodhue, MN. DeeAnn and Birhane had a good time together in the double kayak. The orange kayak kind of clashed with Birhane’s favorite color which is pink.

There was beach time and sand sculptures to be built. Meredith and Elli did a good job making “pretend” lunch for mom and dad and making sand creatures. Meredith pulled Elli & Birhane in the wagon.

Brady and his dad fished off of the dock and caught a crappie and some sunnies.

On Sunday afternoon we went to our neighbor Hannah’s graduation party. Didn’t get to stay long, but it was fun to see some neighbors. Hannah was our best Drumstick Ice Cream customer as she was growing up. Those years went way too fast!
