For many years we have had wooden quarters at Dickerson’s Resort. On Monday night after all of the children have finished their pizza, they receive a wooden quarter. The quarter can be used in our resort store to buy candy or trade it in for a real quarter and play the bouncy ball game.

In 2011 we gave one of these quarters to Beth who runs the Willmar Area Convention & Vistors Bureau to put in the Geocache box which is close to the resort. The quarter had gone to the state of Florida and traveled around there. On Tuesday, the 15th we receive a message from Beth that our Dickerson’s Lake Florida Resort wooden quarter is in Niedersachsen, Germany. Now how cool is that?
