When we got up this morning Bob didn’t think this would be the Big Day. That’s the day the ice goes off. When we got home from church there was quite a bit of open water. An hour later the wind came up and suddenly there was even less ice!

We called ICE OUT Official on March 18, 2012-the earliest since Connie has been at the resort! Can hardly wait for tonight to see the sunset and reflection in the lake!

It is so good to have the lake open. Now we will wait for the loons to come! Hope they know we’re running ahead of schedule up here!
