A day away from the resort
Life cannot be all work and no fun for a resort owner, especially during the off season. I love to bake, but of course the 2 of us certainly don’t need to eat all of it. One day I got the idea that I could bake at church and invite others to join me and help. In the end, they could all take the goodies home and we wouldn’t gain weight! 🙂
The supplies are packed and the car is ready to head for Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN.
Breakfast-the most important meal of the day!
Bob helped unpack the car and was off to Hardees to get us breakfast!

This is a really fun group- so much laughter and conversation.
Some of these people I have known a very long time. LaVerna Birkland on the right was my teacher in grade school!
What a fun group to be with. We’re going to do it again next week and add lefse to the menu!
