I bet every family resort has a place where they proudly display the pictures of the fish the guests catch-we have one at Dickerson’s too. No fish (or turtle or snake) is too big or too small to make it on the board. Then they are supposed to get put in a photo album for everyone to look at for years to come. I was a bit behind and the farther behind you get the harder it is to get started. Thursday was my day. It was so enjoyable to look at the guests and bring back warm memories that I decided to share some of them with you.
Let’s start with Jamie – Jamie was adopted by Jean and Bonnie from Peru. The first time Jamie came to Lake Florida he was 2 1/2. He was here to celebrate his grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. They stayed in cabin #5 and have never moved to a different cabin!

Jaime was 5 when he caught his first fish at Lake Florida and caught fish every year except 2009 when he couldn’t be here with the family. Last year the boys didn’t have much luck, but caught just enough to get their picture on the board.
