The sunset on January 5th was so spectacular and lasted so long I just had to show it to you from beginning to end! I started out taking the picture from the south end of the resort as in days before. As the beauty kept expanding I went to cabin # 8 and climbed up on the dock (which of course is out of the water). I then headed for cabin #12 to get an even larger expanse of sky. I went back to the south end, back to cabin #7 & #12 and ended the sunset at cabin #7 again. The only thing that could have been better would have been to have the temperature at 70 degrees and 50 resort friends to share it with. (The 44 degree weather was nothing to complain about!)

On the east side of the resort the moon was coming up over the meadow. Not many days and it will be a Full Moon again. There is so much beauty living out in the country!
